Welcome to Strand Arts

My name is Nicky Barrett and I own and run Strand Arts. Strand Arts is an arts and crafts supply store located in Cheltenham. I have run the store for almost 7 years.

My father, Denis Barrett, originally started the company in Chesterfield in 1953. After a few years he relocated to Cheltenham on Regent Street, and then again in Cheltenham to Grosvenor Street where he stayed for over 30 years. I began work for my father at the age of 16 and after a number of years I was made a partner. After Denis Barrett decicided to retire I went on to run the business alone and decided to relocate not far from its last location but still on Grosvenor Street, Cheltenham and this is where Strand Arts has been for almost 7 years.
